History of Eagles BJJ

The Establishment of Eagles BJJ in Leicester

First team members

Eagles BJJ was founded in the city of Leicester in January 2022 by Rodrigue Logombe, who at that time held the rank of purple belt and possessed nearly a decade of experience in the discipline of Jiu-Jitsu.

 Brahim Leroux

Initially, the club commenced operations in 2019 under the name I-MMA, established by Brahim Leroux, offering instruction in mixed martial arts and wrestling. However, upon Ibrahim Leroux’s relocation, Rodrigue assumed oversight of I-MMA and instituted a strategic transition, refocusing the curriculum exclusively on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and rebranding the organization as Eagles BJJ.

Under Rodrigue’s direction, Eagles BJJ has distinguished itself as a dedicated training facility devoted solely to the study and practice of the revered martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The academy’s comprehensive program caters to practitioners of all levels, from novices to seasoned veterans, providing a structured environment for the comprehensive acquisition of grappling techniques and submission maneuvers.
